Welcome to
Wendover Singers

We are a community choir based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire

Our Mission

To boost our members’ wellbeing, joy, and sense of belonging, through a shared love of music and song. In doing so, we lift the hearts of our wider community.

Book cover

“Singing in a choir is beneficial in so many different ways. Group singing not only helps forge social bonds, but it also forges those bonds particularly quickly. Even the shyest of people will find comfort and connections quickly in a choir.

Community choirs are also effective at bonding large groups, making it the perfect activity to improve our broader social networks. This is particularly valuable in today’s often alienating world, where many of our social interactions are conducted remotely via Facebook and Twitter.”  Source: St Merkorious Charity

Experience the Joy of Singing Together

We passionately believe in the power of singing in a group and the benefits this can bring, so Wendover Singers is open to everyone over the age of 7 years, regardless of circumstance or ability.

We believe there should be no cost barrier to singing, so seek grants and raise funds to keep our fees as low as possible.

We have members from all ranges of singing ability from the very experienced to the complete beginner. There are no auditions and members are not required to read music to join.

Membership fees are kept low, so our choir is accessible to everyone.  Fees cover the costs of our Musicians, hire of the venue and insurance. Members are asked to purchase their own music.

There is currently a waiting list to join our choir as we have reached capacity, however you can arrange to join us for a free taster session through contacting us here
